Hi! Welcome to Dr. Swain's HomePage

Hello! I am Dr. Rajan Swain, MD. I am a doctor of medicine from Pondicherry, a picturesque little town on the southeast coast of India.

I am a Jipmerite, which means that I graduated from JIPMER. (Stands for Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, one of the premier medical institutions in India.) I belong to the Class of '74 of JIPMER.

This web-page is put up mainly to provide my friends (that includes you) and erstwhile collegemates information about me and my alma mater.

I am working as a chief medical officer in Jipmer Hospital. I am staying in the campus with my wife Madhumathi, a civil engineer and our two children, Sumathi (8) and Suresh (4).
